Foxes are a major predator of young livestock, and they play a significant role in the decline of native wildlife. Feral cats are also a major contributor to the decline of native wildlife, particularly many species of native birds. Both foxes and feral cats also pose a threat due to the disease they carry. To assist landholders, Gwymac has available for hire a Fox and Cat trap. Gwymac staff will give you advise on the best methods to trap Fox' and Cat's and we only ask that you take care of the trap and take records of the Fox/Cat's caught. Hire is on a monthly basis and will require a small deposit refundable on return.

Length of Hire is currently Tuesday's, Wednesday's and Thursday's for this service, but you can enquire for a different time, depending on availability this can be arranged accordingly.
