Eden Sutherland
I have been involved with Landcare for approx 20 years involved in regenerative projects previously on the North Coast and relocated his family to Inverell in 2013 where the family joined the South West Inverell Landcare Group.
Qualifications:
Degree in Environmental Studies, a Diploma in Business and Lead Auditor, Certificate IV in Frontline Management, Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and Certificates in Agriculture, Horticulture, and Pest Management.
I’m a self-employed farmer primarily running beef cattle and strongly committed to sustainable farming practices.
Interests:
I’m interested in all aspects of farming and the preservation and improvement of native ecosystems and I’m committed to biological farming and improving soils.
Johannes Meier
Johannes Meier is a member of Danthonia Bruderhof Community and has been Danthonia's land manager for the past 14 years. Johannes is a member of Gwymac Landcare and Swan Vale Landcare and has a strong interest in practising and promoting regenerative agriculture to increase farm health, productivity and profit.
Danthonia runs a cattle breeding and trading enterprise and has implemented regenerative farming practices such as Holistic Grazing Management, Natural Sequence Farming, Keyline and Soil Biology.
Educating farmers/ landholders in regenerative farming techniques and sharing knowledge and experience in applying regen management is the key to moving toward resilience and profitability in our district.
